NBA ratings way up
Ratings were up significantly for each of the NBA's major TV partners compared to last regular season. (It doesn't hurt when the marquee franchise in the nation's biggest market rises from the dead.)
The average rating jumped 30.4 percent on ABC, 45.5 on TNT and 25.0 on ESPN.
Locally on MSG, Knicks ratings rose by an average of around 95 percent compared to last season.
