Ewing's 20-point streak reaches 28

Patrick Ewing had 41 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in 40 minutes as the Knicks downed Washington, 119-100, before a Madison Square Garden crowd of 18,212. It was Ewing's 28th consecutive game with at least 20 points. However, the streak came to an end the next day. Ewing scored 17 points with nine rebounds in a 106-101 road loss to New Jersey.
