The Knicks enjoyed the fourth-highest rise in local TV ratings in the NBA this season, according to data compiled by Sports Business Journal through the games of April 11.

SBJ said the Knicks' 88.7 percent improvement over last season trailed only the Clippers (130.2 percent), Heat (99.2) and Bulls (90.6).

The Knicks were averaging 1.83 percent of New York area homes.

The Spurs enjoyed the best average rating of any team, at a whopping 10.19 percent of homes in San Antonio, up 51.9 percent.

The Nets averaged by far the lowest rating at 0.29. The next-worst figure was the Clippers' 0.99, nearly four times the Nets'.

So the percentage of the San Antonio market that watched the average Spurs game was more than 35 times higher than the percentage of the New York area that watched the Nets.
