Rookie free-agent guard Ron Baker has signed with the Knicks, the team announced Monday.

Baker said while playing for the Knicks’ summer league team he had been invited to training camp. The former Wichita State guard inked a partially guaranteed deal.

The Knicks have 14 players with fully guaranteed deals, and could have 20 players in camp. They would like to add a third point guard.

The 6-foot-4 Baker, averaged 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in four seasons at Wichita State. As a senior, he averaged 14 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists. If he doesn’t make the Knicks, he could play for their D-League team.
