Carmelo Anthony’s minutes could become a factor as the season continues. He went into Saturday’s action leading the league at 40.8 minutes per game, nearly four more than he averaged last season.

The Knicks falling behind big early in games has led to Anthony spending less time on the bench. But they can’t afford to overuse Anthony and burn him out.
