Wilson Chandler: We'll be playoff bound

Knicks forward Wilson Chandler sounded very confident about his team's prospects this season.

So much so that the fourth-year pro thinks the Knicks will be in the playoffs.

"Everybody’s confident in this season. Everyone’s coming into this season early and working hard," Chandler said during an unveiling of the NBA's new Revolution 30 uniforms at the NBA store on Wednesday. "I think we’re playoff bound. I think we’re going to surprise a lot of people."

With over half the roster overhauled and a lot of fresh new faces -Ronnie Turiaf, Raymond Felton, Anthony Randolph, Kelenna Azibuike- Chandler thinks the team will well prepared to go to battle in what will be a much improved eastern conference.

"It’s always been the west. [But] I think the east is coming back," Chandler said. "Boston is coming back with a great team, Orlando is coming back with a great team...I think it’s going to be real competitive this year."

Let's not forget the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls or Atlanta Hawks.
