The Liberty traded AD Durr to Atlanta Wednesday for the draft rights to 6-3 forward Raquel Carrera.

Durr, formerly known as Asia Durr, was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 WNBA draft. After being sidelined the past two seasons with complications from COVID, Durr has played 10 games this season and averaged 1.4 points over seven minutes per game.

Carrera, Atlanta’s No. 15 overall selection in 2021, has yet to make her WNBA debut but has most recently played for Valencia Basket in Spain alongside Liberty guard Rebecca Allen. The 20-year-old forward averaged 6.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and an assist in 20 Liga Femenina Endesa and EuroCup contests this season.

The Liberty also acquired the contract of Megan Walker in the trade, and she was subsequently waived.
