Liberty's Jocelyn Willoughby to miss six weeks with partial tear of left quad tendon
The Liberty announced Thursday morning that guard/forward Jocelyn Willoughby will miss six weeks after being diagnosed with a partial tear of her left quadriceps tendon.
The team said Willoughby underwent a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection Wednesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan and has started rehabilitation.
Willoughby, who missed Tuesday's loss to the Connecticut Sun, has started four games this season and is averaging 6.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and one steal per game. She missed all of the 2021 season with a tear of her left Achilles' tendon.
