Marquis Teague was forced to sit on the bench with the Bulls one game just so they’d have enough healthy bodies to dress, even though he knew he’d been already traded to the Nets.

Talk about awkward.

Then, the snowstorm that battered the East Coast on Tuesday caused his flight to get canceled three times.

No wonder Teague, who was traded for Tornike Shengelia, was happy to be out of Chicago and practice with the Nets for the first time on Thursday. The 2012 first-round pick grew frustrated with his situation and apparently isn’t a big fan of Tom Thibadeau’s slow-it-down, grinding halfcourt attack.

“It just wasn’t clicking with Thibs the right way,” Teague said. “Just trying to figure his system out was just kind of tough for me. The way they play ain’t really my style, so it’s kind of difficult for me. But I’ve got a new start now, so I’m just looking forward to the future.”
