Nets-Bulls key matchups

Nets forward Reggie Evans questions his first technical foul against the Indiana Pacers in the second half. Evans was called for a second technical and ejected but the Nets defeated the Pacers, 117-109. (April 12, 2013) Credit: AP
Brook Lopez vs. Joakim Noah: The Nets’ All-Star center has trouble with physical, long defenders and Noah is like a pesky gnat at a picnic. Offensively, Lopez gets the nod here, but he’s going to have to keep Noah off the glass on both ends of the floor.
Reggie Evans vs. Carlos Boozer: Boozer gave the Nets fits in the three regular season matchups he played in against them, combining for 62 points and 32 rebounds. If the Nets can’t neutralize him a bit, and get some scoring from Evans, they’ll be in trouble.
P.J. Carlesimo vs. Tom Thibodeau: Matching wits with Thibodeau isn’t easy, particularly on the defensive end. He’s one of the most detailed, defensive-oriented coaches in the league and is surely going to try to devise a way to slow down the Nets’ main offensive weapons. So if Carlesimo and his staff can’t come up with counters, it’ll be a long series for the Nets.
