Nets needs in free agency

With Shaun Livingston looking unlikely to return, the Nets could use someone with experience to play behind Deron Williams, coming off surgery on both ankles. The Nets reportedly have discussed a deal with the Cavaliers to acquire Jarrett Jack for Marcus Thornton, which would fill the void if Livingston bolts.
Backup center
Andray Blatche opted out and his return looks shaky, creating the need for a reliable big man behind Brook Lopez. Lopez is said to be on schedule with his recovery from surgery on his right foot, but the Nets surely will be careful with Lopez, probably limiting his minutes and games, and it's imperative to have frontcourt depth.
Points off the bench
Other than Thornton, who can provide instant offense but also can be cold bombing away from the perimeter, the Nets don't have anyone who consistently can explode offensively. Getting a shooting guard or small forward with that ability, particularly if they don't re-sign Paul Pierce, would help solidify their reserves.
