Paul McCartney is here, there, everywhere to see Nets, Rangers

A free T-shirt caused Paul McCartney to . . . well, twist and shout.
The legendary member of the Beatles was in attendance at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon as the Nets fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 100-85.
McCartney also attended the Rangers’ 7-3 loss to the Capitals on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden.
During a break in the Nets action, T-shirts were tossed into the stands. McCartney, seated at center court, about 15 rows up, caught one. He then began celebrating about as wildly as fans once did at the Beatles’ Shea Stadium concert in 1965.
Funny considering Forbes reported that McCartney’s net worth is more than $1 billion.
The Nets tweeted photos of an ecstatic McCartney, saying “When you love the #Nets t-shirt toss, but you’re also @PaulMcCartney.”
McCartney, 73, nearly grabbed a freebie during the Nets’ T-shirt toss in the past. In 2013, video of McCartney showing disappointment over just missing a shirt at a Brooklyn game went viral.
But now his troubles seem so far away.
McCartney, who attended the game Sunday with family, left his seat at halftime and did not return. But he departed with a new addition to his wardrobe.
