Alarice Gooden hit a go-ahead jumper with 3:27 left in overtime and Sandra Magolico converted a three-point play with 44 seconds to go as Hofstra, the No. 10 seed, upset third-seeded Drexel, 53-49, in the Coastal Athletic Association semifinals Saturday at FirstCare Arena in Washington D.C.

The Pride (11-21) advance to face No. 1 seed Charleston in the title game Sunday at 2 p.m. (CBSSN). Hofstra was ranked No. 275 (out of 363 Division I teams) in the NCAA's NET rankings going into Saturday.

Ema Karim, who had 17 points, hit a pair of free throws with 13 seconds left to give the Pride a 53-47 lead.

Magolico tied the game with 3 seconds left in regulation on a fast-break layup off a steal by Chloe Sterling, ushering in overtime, tied at 44-44.

Charleston 79, Stony Brook 49: In an earlier semifinal, Taryn Barbot scored 12 of her 24 points during a 22-5 run to open the game for top seed Charleston (26-5).

Caitlin Frost had 13 points and eight rebounds for the No. 4 seed Seawolves (18-15), who committed 20 turnovers.
