Hofstra to play Kentucky at Barclays Center in December, sources say

The Hofstra men’s basketball team will meet eight-time NCAA champion Kentucky at Barclays Center on Dec. 11, according to sources.
St. John’s will play LIU Brooklyn in the single-admission doubleheader. Game times and ticket sales will be announced next week.
Hofstra was originally scheduled to play Kentucky at Nassau Coliseum on Dec 10 as the first sporting event in the renovated facility, but the game was moved when the Coliseum’s reopening was changed to March 2017.
