Junior Isabella Corrao threw her second no-hitter in seven days, striking out 16 and walking one for Farmingdale in a 5-0 Conference AA-I/II crossover softball win at Plainview JFK. Corrao, who hasn't allowed more than two hits in any of her last four games, lost the perfect game with a two-out walk in the bottom of the third inning. Every out was recorded via strikeout or infield out. "She's really coming into her own right now," said Farmingdale assistant coach Brandon Oppenheim. "Just a completely dominant performance." Jenna Crawford had a two-RBI single in the fifth inning to extend the lead to 3-0 for the Dalers (5-2). Plainview JFK is 1-7.

Bay Shore 2, Longwood 0: Taylor McGowan tossed a one-hitter with no walks and 10 strikeouts for Bay Shore (10-0) in a League I/II crossover. McGowan, who pitched her fifth shutout of the season, carried a perfect game into the bottom of the sixth before allowing a two-out single. Chelsea Fischer's sacrifice fly in the first inning gave Bay Shore a 1-0 lead and Nicole Marzillo's double to score McGowan in the fourth made it 2-0. Bay Shore clinched its 28th consecutive playoff berth. Longwood is 5-4.

Babylon 15 Southold/Greenport 0: Freshman Madison Mugno pitched a five-inning no-hitter to earn her first varsity win for Babylon (7-1) in a League VII/VIII crossover. Southold/Greenport is 0-9.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Northport 19, West Islip 11: Shannon Gilroy scored four of her game-high seven goals and Courtney Fortunato added five of her six goals in a 12-2 second half for Northport (6-0) in Division I. The game was a rematch of last year's Class A county final won by Northport. Gilroy also had two assists, and Jessica Nelson had two goals and one assist. Toniann Riportella, Erin Byrnes and Loren Ziegler each scored three goals for West Islip (5-1), and Alyssa Costantino made 13 saves.Connetquot 15, Sachem East 14: Ashley Kupres scored the game-winner on a feed from sister Amber with 3:55 left in the second half for Connetquot (3-4). Amber Kupres scored a career-high six assists. Jen Gazdick had 11 saves for Sachem East (2-4).

Brentwood 14, Longwood 13: Senior Melani Lewis, who scored a career-high eight goals, tallied the game-winner with 42 seconds left for Brentwood (1-5). Emily Wolff tied the score at 13 with 1:32 left for Longwood (0-7).
