The Giants will have another visitor from the west today.

One day after they agreed to a one-year contract with former Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennet, the Giants are hosting free agent (and former Cowboy) wide receiver Kevin Ogletree, according to ESPN.

Just one more guy for us to pepper with questions comparing Eli Manning to Tony Romo.

Ogletree did not have a productive 2011 season, with only 15 catches for 164 yards. But he is a local guy, having played at Holy Cross High School in Queens before going to college at Virginia. He was an undrafted rookie free agent for the Cowboys in 2009 after declaring for the draft as a junior and going unselected.

If the Giants do sign Ogletree, it would be to compete for the third or fourth receiver spot with the likes of Domenik Hixon, Jerrel Jernigan and Ramses Barden.
