Antrel Rolle is glad to have answered Vernon Davis' prayers. But he has a warning for the 49ers tight end and his teammates: Be careful what you wish for.

Davis, the hero of the win over the Saints on Saturday, told reporters that he "prayed and prayed" for the Giants to beat the Packers on Sunday. A Giants win meant that the 49ers would host the NFC Championship Game this weekend instead of going to Green Bay.

"If he said that, I can only hope he's saying it just because they want to get a home game," Rolle said on his weekly radio spot on WFAN Tuesday. "They better be careful what they ask for, because their wish is being granted and we'll see them come Sunday."

Although many Giants fans -- and even a few Giants -- were glad to avoid a return trip to New Orleans to face Drew Brees in the Superdome, Rolle said he wasn't concerned about who was up next for the team.

"I don't give a damn who we'll be playing," Rolle said. "I'll take any opponent any given day. That's my attitude. If someone has a problem with it, oh well, that's how I am, that's how I was raised.

"I don't shy away from any opponent. My heart doesn't pump any Kool-Aid, only blood. I'm ready to play whenever, however, whenever, however. I'm ready for it."

And if the Giants win, they'll face the Patriots or the Ravens in the Super Bowl. Rolle said he's not concerned about rooting or praying for any particular matchup there, either.

"I want the San Francisco 49ers," he said, "and we're going to get them this Sunday."
