Don't tell Keith Bulluck he's going to find it challenging shifting inside to middle linebacker full-time from the outside spot he was accustomed to lining up at for the better part of his 10 seasons in Nashville.

The Giants' new acquisition actually believes the move will allow him to be around the ball even more, increasing his chances of wreaking a little havoc on the opposition.

“The only difference I see to me is more opportunities to make plays," Bulluck said today on a conference call, "because if you just play on one side and you are the dominant defensive player on your team, they usually try and do things to scheme you up, cut you off with cut off blocks, and run away. So in the middle, you can run at me, but you can’t run away from me.

“I don’t think there’s much of a difference to me, man. It’s football at the end of the day and I’m a football player.”

Bulluck noted that he rotated between both positions his final three seasons with the Titans.

"I haven't really even thought twice about it," he said. "It wasn't a matter of me getting the confidence to play the middle. Confidence has never been an issue with me when it comes to this game.

"It's going to be fun, and I plan on making a lot of plays from that spot. Antonio [Pierce] made a lot of plays from that spot. And if that's the spot I'm playing, I expect nothing less from myself."
