Dungy: Peyton blurs Eli focus

NBC analyst Tony Dungy, who remains close to Peyton Manning, hadn't spoken to him lately as of Tuesday, but he figured Manning was not pleased to have become a focus of attention this week given the uncertainty over his future and the fact the Super Bowl is being played in his town.

"I would think he’s very uncomfortable, especially wih the Giants being here and Eli," Dungy said. "You get to a Super Bowl, even though it’s the second one for the Giants, and you want the focus to be on that.

"And I know he would much rather have the focus on Eli and what they’ve done to get here, but unfortunately that’s not going to happen."
