The team released today's injury report and there are eight players who either sat out today's workout or have already been ruled out for Sunday's game.

The two who will not play against the Colts we already knew about: Kevin Boss (concussion) and Will Beatty (foot).

The other six who did not participate were: Chase Blackburn (knee), Phillip Dillard (hamstring), Bruce Johnson (knee), Michael Johnson (personal), Hakeem Nicks (ankle) and Osi Umenyiora (knee). Of those the only ones we did not know about to some extent were Johnson and Johnson.

The good news: Aaron Ross (foot) practiced fully. So did Gerris Wilkinson (groin), which is good because he and Dave Tollefson will likely have to pick up the special teams duties of Bryan Kehl, who was cut to make room for Bear Pascoe.

Don't cry for Bryan, though. He's already reportedly landed in St. Louis with former Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. Spags, in fact, was a big fan of Kehl's in their one year together with the Giants. He even had Kehl as a sometimes starter and had him splitting reps at outside linebacker as a rookie.

Hope it works out for both of them.

For the Colts, Anthony Gonzalez (ankle), Bob Sanders (biceps) and Clint Session (hamstring) did not practice. Sanders reportedly had surgery on his biceps today, so he'll be out. And Gonzalez could be sidelined until the bye with a high ankle sprain according to some reports. Expect him to be out on Sunday too.
