The Giants scored just 16 points against the Redskins, but that was enough for Eli Manning to say he's pleased with the team's offense over the last two weeks and call the most recent effort "dominant."

"I thought the last two weeks we moved the ball very, very well," Manning said, noting that the Giants had drives that lasted 11, 12 and 13 plays against the Redskins and a 17-play drive against the Packers the week before. "Last week I thought it was a case of penalties a little bit, just having bad field position . . . It was a very dominant game."

Six offensive penalties squandered a game in which the offense did not turn the ball over, allowed just one sack, and had Ahmad Bradshaw run for 103 yards. The Giants had 390 net yards and converted nine of 15 third downs against the Redskins.

JPP: Giants are soft

Jason Pierre-Paul said the Giants have been "a little soft" and agreed with Antrel Rolle's mandate that the team needs to be nastier. "As a defense, we have to make a statement," Pierre-Paul said. Rolle, meanwhile, expounded on his thoughts about the Giants' nastiness, which he first mentioned on WFAN on Tuesday. "I said what needed to be said," Rolle said. "I wasn't looking for no one to back me up. I just said what I feel . . . This is football"
