The Giants will hire Titans linebackers coach Frank Bush as their inside linebackers coach, a source confirmed to Newsday.

Bush spent the last two seasons in Tennessee under defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson. Wilson was hired by the Giants in the same capacity last month.

Bush has been linebackers coach for multiple teams since his first hire in 1993 with the then-Houston Oilers. He was also the Jets' inside linebackers coach/assistant head coach in 2019-20 and was promoted to interim defensive coordinator for the Jets in 2020 after Gregg Williams was fired.

Bush and Wilson previously worked together for the Rams from 2013-16. Bush was linebackers coach while Wilson was a quality control coach until being promoted to defensive backs coach in 2015.

Bush’s hire would complete new head coach John Harbaugh’s defensive staff after he hired former Ravens defensive line coach Dennis Johnson in the same capacity. However, outside linebackers coach Charlie Bullen will interview for the Browns' defensive coordinator job as well as the Cardinals' defensive coordinator vacancy, according to NFL Network.

NFL Network also reported the Giants are interviewing former Titans head coach Brian Callahan for their quarterbacks coach. Callahan was fired last October after going 4-19 in two seasons in Tennessee.
