One more ratings nugget before I turn this thing back over to TRock, the JPP of Newsday's Giants coverage team.
I think this is pretty cool: Sunday's Giants-Packers game averaged 33.4% of homes in the New York area on Fox, making it the network's highest-rated non-Super Bowl game ever in this market.
Yes, that includes the NFC Championship Game between the same two teams in 2008, which averaged 32.8% of homes.
Here are the ratings and shares for the four Giants playoff games on Fox four seasons ago:
Wild Card vs. Buccaneers: 19.8/42
Divisional vs. Cowboys: 28.0/46
NFC Championship vs. Packers: 32.8/48
Super Bowl vs. Patriots: 44.9/67
