Giants expect visitors treatment at home

The Giants have been booed plenty of times at MetLife Stadium this season. On Saturday, though, they expect the crowd to be on them with even more ferocity. It is, after all, a Jets home game.
So even though the Giants will be in their own locker room and have the use of many of their own game day facilities, they will be visitors in their own building. The Jets and Giants co-own the stadium, but Rex Ryan has ordered a "Green Out" by Jets fans.
To prepare for that, Tom Coughlin decided to have crowd noise piped into the field house during yesterday's practice, just as he would if the Giants were preparing to play in another noisy environment like the Superdome or Cowboys Stadium.
"Stress the fact that we're the road team," Coughlin said. And he has reason to want to do so. While the Giants are 4-3 on the road this year, they are 3-4 at home.
Rolle likes tempo
Antrel Rolle was critical of the way his teammates were practicing last week, but so far he likes what he's seen as they prepare for the Jets. "I think guys understand the position that we are in," the safety said. "They understand where we are trying to get to and everyone is putting everything behind them. This is our number one priority."
Giant steps
C David Baas missed the last three games with a neck injury, but has returned to practice this week . . . WR Devin Thomas, who suffered a stinger Sunday and had to be carted off the field when he experienced numbness in his right arm and legs, was limited in practice but said he'll be OK despite the scare . . . RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) was limited in practice but RB D.J. Ware (knee) did not participate . . . Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell said rookie CB Prince Amukamara will play on Saturday after being benched for the second half of the Redskins loss.
