Virtually all hands were on dressed for the final full practice before Sunday's Giants opener against Carolina. Only rookie linebacker Phillip Dillard (hamstring) among those on the active roster was not practicing.

Starting cornerbacks Aaron Ross (foot) and Corey Webster (groin) both took part in the drills before the main part of practice when reporters were shooed back inside. Ross' status likely will be announced after practice. He could be held out another week or so. Center Shaun O'Hara (ankle/Achilles) worked in his usual spot, and so did DT Chris Canty (groin) and special teams captain Chase Blackburn (knee) and backup LB Gerris Wilkerson (groin).

As expected, newcomer Darius Reynaud should be heavily involved in the kick return game. Visit here later for the official injury update and a sampling of quotes from coach Tom Coughlin and the locker room.
