Craig Johnson was named the new running backs coach for the Giants, replacing long-time Tom Coughlin assistant Jerald Ingram, who was let go last week.
Johnson coached quarterbacks for the Vikings the last three years.
The only other current opening on the Giants staff remains tight ends coach. Mike Pope, who held that job with the Giants since 2000 before he was let go last week, was hired to coach tight ends for the Cowboys.
