The Giants announced their preseason schedule on Tuesday, a slate that will give them an opportunity to face three of the top young quarterbacks in the NFL and a team that made it to last season’s Super Bowl.

They’ll open the preseason against Mac Jones and the Patriots in New England on Aug. 11 before a home game against Joe Burrow and the Bengals on Aug. 21, both with 7 p.m. starts. The preseason finale at MetLife Stadium against the Jets and Zach Wilson comes with a rare 1 o’clock kickoff on Aug. 28. The Jets will serve as the home team for this year’s annual contest between the two teams that share the stadium.

The Giants face the Patriots and Jets nearly every summer. This will be the 32nd preseason game against New England in a series that began in 1971 and the 53rd against the Jets in a series that began in 1969 and has taken place nearly every year since. Only the cancellation of the 2020 preseason because of the pandemic interrupted the Giants-Jets preseason tradition, which resumed last year. This will be only the sixth time the Giants will face the Bengals in the preseason and their first meeting at MetLife Stadium.

None of the preseason opponents are on the Giants’ regular-season schedule. The Giants open the regular season at Tennessee on Sept. 11.
