Late in the third quarter, with momentum finally swinging their way, the Giants were faced with a fourth-and-1 from the Dallas 49. Rather than go for the first down and keep things moving, Tom Coughlin decided to punt and Matt Dodge put the ball 5 yards deep in the end zone for a touchback.
