A week ago, Pascoe was a practice-squad player watching helplessly while Kevin Boss was carted off the field with a concussion. Sunday, he'll be trying to slow down one of the fastest outside pass rushers in the NFL (plus pitch in against Robert Mathis when he's lined up on the other side). "Bear has a big challenge with two lightning-quick defensive ends he has to go against," offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride said, "but we have great confidence in him and he certainly got a lot of experience this preseason." At one point in camp, Pascoe was the only healthy tight end available to the Giants. Now he finds himself in roughly the same position.
