Not that there have been all that many people at Giants practice so far -- on normal days there are about 1,000 but twice in the first week they've had to move the workouts indoors and closed them to the public -- but the crowds could be getting even thinner. The team announced that they will shift their 6 p.m. practices to 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and will likely retain that schedule when the team returns from its preseason opener against the Panthers next week.

The Giants are off tomorrow and will not practice on Friday.

Practice will still be free and open to the public, so long as they remain outside.

The Giants also have a telephone hotline that provides information about camp: 201-935-8111, extension 9385.
