Happy Revis Day! This signing is so big, everyone gets the day off! Well, almost everyone. The Giants are practicing today and most of the regular media are here for the start of Week 1 of the regular season. And the Jets writers, well, they can certainly use a day off to catch up on some sleep. Busy night last night.
I wish there was some excitement to tell you about here at the Giants, but so far it's nice and calm. Heck, they didn't even put in any claims on players who were waived by other teams this weekend. They just have one spot on the practice squad to fill. If that's the kind of thing that gets you revved up, well, hang on to your hat today.
We go out to practice in a little while to see if Aaron Ross and Shaun O'Hara and Travis Beckum are practicing. Not expecting Gerris Wilkinson to be working. We probably won't get to see much team stuff, but it'll be interesting to try and spot if Shawn Andrews is working with the first group.
I'll be back later this afternoon with some updates from the practice, the locker room, and Tom Coughlin's press conference.
