How is Shawn Andrews fitting in?

What makes Shawn Andrews different from the rest of the Giants’ business-first offensive linemen?
Well, he’s emotional (and was near tears when talking about playing and starting on Sunday). He’ll break into song at any moment. And he is consistently on Twitter updating the world to his favorite foods.
But the effervescent outsider – who is now apparently the starting left tackle – has fit in with the tight-knit, tight-lipped group.
“Shawn has a great attitude,” veteran Rich Seubert said on Monday. “It’s fun to have him out there playing. I know Shawn is going to go 110 percent and bust his tail off to get the job done.”
When Andrews started at left tackle Sunday, it could have been a disruption. The Giants’ linemen are a proud group and particularly protective of their positions. But Andrews said there were no difficulties.
“If they felt any type of way other than the right way – accepting it – I couldn’t tell,” he said after the game. “Those guys are so quick to help … I have a lot of respect for these guys. Tons of respect.”
