When the Giants needed a stop, they turned to Julian Love. The safety came through the line on a blitz and sacked Baker Mayfield on third-and-6 with 2:27 left to force a Panthers punt. “We knew that was potentially the game-winning play [for us] and he made it,” fellow safety Xavier McKinney said. The Panthers punted and never touched the ball again.
