Limpin' Prince needs to run smoothly to play on Sunday

Prince Amukamara wants to lose the limp before he plays.
“I mean, I’m going to be a target out there anyways,” the second-year cornerback said today after taking about 50 percent of the reps in practice and, yes, limping a little bit while he ran. “The offensive coordinators, they’re still going to smell blood. If I’m able to run but (the pain is) still lingering, then that’s cool. But if I’m limping then I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
Amukamara said he still hopes to play on Sunday against the Bucs. He’ll have two more practices to work through his limp.
“Still pushing through it,” he said.
Amukamara also got a chuckle over the picture the Giants Tweeted of him yesterday when he was participating in some community service and was working the drive-thru window at a Taco Bell.
“What was the headline on it?” he asked. “Prince’s job if he can’t get back on the field?”
