Looks like Mario suffered his concussion on the final drive

Tom Coughlin said that Mario Manningham recalls which play he suffered his concussion on (although he did not provide it). I went back and looked at the tape of the game and I think I see where it happened.

It was on the final offensive drive with about one minute left. Eli Manning threw a short pass to his right that was caught by Manningham. He was wrapped up low and was trying to lunge for extra yardage when he got clobbered by Titans safety Michael Griffin.

Manningham came to his feet with his helmet askew and looked like he was trying to straighten it out and hold his head on at the same time.

There was no penalty on the play, but interestingly it was Griffin who had hit Steve Smith earlier in the drive and knocked Smith's helmet off over the middle. Even though Griffin barely touched Smith on the play, it was flagged for a personal foul, no doubt because of the dramatic flair of the lost helmet. Griffin's hit on Manningham was much harder and much more borderline, but it did not draw a flag.

By that time, of course, most of you had probably already turned the game off.
