Malik Nabers was set to practice fully with the Giants on Friday, one day after he turned up on the Thursday injury report as limited because of knee soreness.

“He’s good,” coach Brian Daboll said before practice. “We’ll see how he feels when he gets out here, but no concern. He’ll be ready to play.”

The rookie receiver will be facing a Commanders team on Sunday that is quarterbacked by his former LSU teammate, Jayden Daniels. Daniels was the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft and Nabers went No. 6.

Asked what happened to Nabers on Thursday, Daboll said, “He was like, ‘Ah, it doesn't feel right right now.’ So, we looked at him. We said, ‘Let's be safe.’ Looked at it. He came in early in the morning, got treatment. So, he's good to go.”

Daboll said Nabers did not get any imaging done to confirm that his knee is OK.
