Mario Manningham told reporters after the game that he did not suffer a concussion but a neck injury.

“Got a little massage,” he said. “I’m good.”

He even said he expects to be practicing on Wednesday.

But the Giants medical staff said that Manningham did, in fact, suffer a concussion. It’s at least his second in the NFL. According to the team, Manningham did not pass a sideline concussion test administered during the game, and that is the reason he was not allowed to return.

The massage was evidently just a bonus.
