Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham, who had a superb game in the Giants' loss to Tennessee, unexpectedly showed up on the week's first injury report this morning with a concussion. Under NFL rules, there is a protocol that must be followed for head injuries, which usually means a player diagnosed with a concussion will miss at least one game.

Manningham caught six passes for 78 yards, and that doesn't count the 57-yard reception that was called back when a penalty in the end zone on running back Ahmad Bradshaw resulted in a safety. Manningham's loss obviously would make coverage problems a lot easier for the Bears Sunday night at New Meadowlands Stadium.

Linebacker Keith Bulluck (toe) and DT Rocky Bernard (back) are the only other new entries to the injury list, which also includes OT Will Beatty (foot), LB Chase Blackburn (knee), LB Phillip Dillard (hamstring) and C Saun O'Hara (ankle/achilles).
