Michael Strahan supports marriage equality
Michael Strahan lives in California, but he’s best known as a New Yorker for his career with the Giants.
Now, he’s coming forward as a New Yorker for Marriage Equality.
The former defensive end is the latest celebrity to support the campaign and recently filmed a public service announcement with his fiancé, Nicole Murphy. He follows other athletes who have joined the campaign including Steve Nash and the Rangers’ Sean Avery.
“As a defensive end for the New York Giants, I always played the game tough but fair,” Strahan says in the spot. “It’s unfair to stop committed couples from getting married.”
