The Giants made seven draft picks on Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft. Here are the players they selected with those picks:

Darnay Holmes: 4th round (110 overall)

Position: Cornerback

Height/Weight: 5-10/195

College: UCLA

Class: Junior

A smart, self-motivated player whose work ethic often overcomes his lack of size … Was considered the top cornerback in the nation coming out of high school … Had eight interceptions in three years at college, returning two of them for touchdowns … Has potential on special teams as a returner … Father Darick Holmes was an NFL running back from 1995-99.

Shane Lemieux: 5th round (150 overall)

Position: Offensive line

Height/Weight: 6-4/310

College: Oregon

Class: Redshirt senior

Tough and powerful player who can hold up in the trenches … Extremely durable; Started every game over four years for the Ducks … Voted second-team Associated Press All-America in 2019 … Adds depth behind projected starters Will Hernandez and Kevin Zeitler.

Cam Brown: 6th round (183 overall)

Position: Linebacker

Height/Weight: 6-5/233

College: Penn State

Class: Senior

A team captain who started 12 of 13 games as a senior and recorded 72 tackles with 5.5 for a loss and two sacks … Third-team All-Big Ten … Lanky athlete who plays well in space as a blitzer and in coverage but needs to get stronger at point of attack … Cousin of former NFL wide receiver Andre Davis.

Carter Coughlin: 7th round (218 overall)

Position: Linebacker

Height/Weight: 6-3/236

College: Minnesota

Class: Senior

A quick, somewhat undersized pass-rusher who can get swallowed up in crowds but can function in space … Had 9.5 sacks as a junior … Second-team All-Big Ten leading the Gophers with 9.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks to go with 49 total tackles, four pass breakups, and two forced fumbles … Teammate of current Giants LB Ryan Connolly at Eden Prairie (Minn.) HS … Good football instincts; his father Bob and grandfather Tom Moe both played for Minnesota (Moe later served as the school’s athletic director).

T.J. Brunson: 7th round (238 overall)

Position: Linebacker

Height/Weight: 6-1/230

College: South Carolina

Class: Senior

Had 4.0 sacks and 10.5 tackles for a loss as a junior but production dipped to no sacks as a senior … A downhill middle linebacker who was not invited to the Combine … Two-time team captain and winner of the team’s Leadership Award for defense in 2019 … Graduated in December 2019 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies... Was the first recruit Will Muschamp visited after being hired at South Carolina.

Chris WIlliamson: 7th round (247 overall)

Position: Cornerback

Height/Weight: 6-0/205 pounds

College: Minnesota

Class: Redshirt senior

Transferred after two seasons with little playing time at Florida … Started nine of 13 games in 2019 with 57 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception and three passes defended … Has experience playing inside as a nickel and is big enough to stand up against the run.

Tae Crowder: 7th round (255 overall)

Position: Linebacker

Height/Weight: 6-3, 235 pounds

College: Georgia

Class: Redshirt senior

Had 62 tackles and four passes defended in 2019 … Good enough athleticism to drop into pass coverage … College teammate of Giants’ first-round pick Andrew Thomas at Georgia last year and joins fellow Bulldogs DeAndre Baker and Lorenzo Carter on the roster.
