Adam Henry was Odell Beckham Jr.’s position coach at LSU. Now he has the same role with the Giants. So who better to say how Beckham has changed in the past three years?

“He’s a little different,” Henry admitted this week. “Of course, New York, the media. It’s just things are different.”

Henry said that while Beckham is still a hard worker and still makes amazing plays in practices and games, it’s the intensity of the spotlight on him that is the biggest change.

“At LSU, everything was so enclosed,” Henry said. “Being in college, going to class or back. Even though LSU football is a big deal, it was just a little different.”

It then was pointed out to Henry that LeBron James posted a video clip of Beckham’s plays in practices from the summer on Instagram earlier in the week referring to Beckham as “my lil bro” and urging him on. “Keep going and don’t settle for nothing less than Greatness!!” he wrote.

Henry smiled.

“See,” he said, “so that’s a little different.”
