Osi "ready to roll," says he won't be a distraction
No one asked Osi Umenyiora if he would rather retire than play as a reserve player in 2010, at least not until he brought it up in a series of cranky interviews leading up to the Super Bowl. So when he writes in his latest entry on Playmaker Mobile that he's "not sure what all the fuss has been about with me," he really has only himself to blame.
That said, Umenyiora does seem to have settled all of his issues with the Giants. Or at least he's buried them deep enough that he's able to go about his business as a football player. We reported here that he'll be on hand for the OTA workouts that begin today.
"I'm ready to roll," he posted last night.
"I think people have been looking for me to do something to cause dissension, but that's not happening."
