If the Giants decide to select an offensive lineman in the first few rounds of the draft, here are some players they would be looking at:
MIKE IUPATI
G, Idaho, 6-5, 331
The top guard in the draft and a likely first-rounder, the Giants could plug him into a starting spot immediately. A better run-blocker than pass protector as the Senior Bowl showed.
ANTHONY DAVIS
Rutgers, 6-5, 323
An athletic tackle and a local player from Rutgers, but will the Giants want to spend a first-round pick on a player who might be the fifth- or sixth-best at his position in the draft? Only if they trade down toward the bottom of the round.
BRUCE CAMPBELL
Maryland, 6-6, 314
If Campbell drops to 15 while some of the Giants' other targeted players have been selected, they might just grab this cornerstone and consider it a gift.
JARED VELDHEER
Hillsdale, 6-8, 312
The Division II player had a decent showing at the combine and the Giants were intrigued enough to bring him in for a visit last week. A possible second- or third-rounder.
