Running back Rashad Jennings had a cast on his left hand and wrist on Tuesday but said he expects to have it removed in time for Wednesday’s practice.

“This is just being safe,” he said.

Jennings admitted the injury is painful, and while X-rays showed no breaks he wasn’t sure exactly what the injury is. He also said he isn’t sure exactly when the injury occurred. The one thing he seemed certain of, however, was that he will play through it.

“I plan on practicing tomorrow, going out there and running, going through the normal stuff,” he said. “This is something I’ve got to deal with. The cost of playing football.”
