Antrel Rolle said he did place a phone call to Mark Clayton on Sunday, the day after he blasted him and left him with a concussion. But he took issue with the characterization of the phone call, which was first reported here in the Baltimore Sun. That article suggested that Rolle called Clayton "apparently to aplogize."
Rolle laughed at that.
"Apologize? This is football," he said. "I just called to make sure he was OK."
