Don’t worry, touchdown dance fans, the salsa isn’t going anywhere.

After Victor Cruz scored on a 57-yard reception in the first quarter of Saturday’s game against the Steelers, he gave what can be considered an abbreviated version of his signature dance move. Then he waved off the crowd and flashed a Jay Z Roc Nation hand gesture. There were some – including me – who thought that by combining the first two moves that Cruz was saying goodbye to the salsa. Throwing it away. Tossing it to the fans.

But no.

“It’s just preseason so I just did one or two steps,” Cruz said of cutting his routine short. “I didn’t want to give it the full gamut just yet, but the salsa is still going strong.”
