Steve Smith provides no update from MRI
That’s because there was no MRI.
The Giants wide receiver who injured his groin in yesterday’s practice said today that he was just examined by the doctors and has a mildly strained groin. He said there are no plans to do further tests.
“It’s just weak right now,” he said. “I have to get it stronger.”
Smith said he considers himself day-to-day and would not be surprised if he is back practicing early next week.
“It’s better today than it was yesterday,” he said. “That’s a good sign.”
