To Tuck, Jets haven't surpassed Giants in NY
HOUSTON - How does Justin Tuck feel about the Giants playing second fiddle in New York? He's fine with it, depending on whom you consider to be No. 1.
After yesterday's game, a Houston reporter asked Hakeem Nicks during his news conference how it feels for the Giants to be the second-most-talked-about team in New York after so many years as the preeminent team, a clear reference to the 3-1 Jets. Tuck, who was waiting for his turn on the podium, shook his head disgustedly and muttered to himself, "Can I answer that question?"
Later, at the end of Tuck's interview session, a New York reporter jokingly asked it of him. He answered this way: "Behind the Yankees? It'll always be that way. The Yankees are top dog in New York."
