You were probably jumping up and down. Many of the Giants players were running onto the frozen field. But what thought went through amani Toomer's head when Lawrence Tynes' field goal in overtime went through the uprights in the NFC title game in Green Bay three years ago?

"Oh, crap, we have to go back to the Super Bowl."

That's what Toomer told Neil Best, who went back and took a good look at the 10th anniversary of the only New York team to ever lose a Super Bowl.

It's an interesting read. Toomer of course kills Jim Fassel's gameplan. Fassel maintains that those Giants were a great team that had a bad day. And Michael Strahan points to the difference from the XXXV experience to the XLII experience by explaining the team's reaction to a penalty.

Good stuff. And just one of the stories you'll find in our Super Bowl coverage this week.
