Tuck, Holmes bicker over stadium name

It used to be that trash talking was played out over the course of a few days. A guy in one city would say something about a guy on another team. It would appear in the paper the next day. Reporters covering the second team would get reaction from the offended party and that would appear in the paper the following day. Back and forth it went, a conversation at a civilized pace.
But this is 2011. So when Justin Tuck said today that he refuses to call the shared home of the Giants and Jets by it's formal name -- "To me it will always be Giants Stadium," he said -- that information was relayed quickly down to Florham Park where Santonio Holmes was able to respond to it in a matter of minutes.
"It's the Meadowlands,” Holmes said, “home of the New York Jets.”
Sniping at the speed of light.
